I want to (or rATHer, used to) be an early bird, however, i'm evolving into a night owl.

I think when we were kids, we love staying up till late and would always rebel when asked to sleep. same.

however, after i entered secondary school, i started sleeping around 10pm, and would wake up around 6am for school. #8hourssleepcheck

If you were wondering, what about the weekends? Same thing. i woke up before 7am for a jog with my dad.

I loved it.

My friends saw me as the early bird.

After entering uni, at least for the first term, i was sleeping at 2am almost everyday. tbh, i really did not know where all my time went. but let's just assume it all went to procrastinating :").

I was burnt out. Burnt. out.

But I did realise that I could somehow better concentrate in the night. Was i evolving into a night owl??

I didn't want to - My friends were texting me, asking me why was I awake, if I replied to their texts after 12am. yes.

Why #8hourssleepcheck? Because if I don't hit it, I would feel so so so tired and lethargic by the late morning. yes you read it right. by the late. morning.

But I guess, as cliche as it sounds, the only constant is change. In life there's always Ups and Downs so being adaptable is the top necessity in surviving today's world.

Maybe we shouldn't say time for a change. It's time for an ADAPTATION!!

Waking up in the wee hours of the morning definitely felt extremely nostalgic.

I really love the morning air!

So, Early Bird? or Night Owl?

For me, i choose the Early Bird. but i could be a Night Owl if the situation calls for it! #adaptationatitsfinest

peace! -dap
